Gynecology
Gynecology includes various diseases:
Enlargement of the Breasts
In some women, the breasts become very large, sag, and dangle from side to side while walking.
Causes:
Tickling and pulling of the breasts, excessive use of phlegmatic (mucous-producing) items.
Hyperlactation (Excessive Production of Milk)
Sometimes so much milk is produced in the breasts that even after the child drinks to their full satisfaction, milk continues to leak from the breasts. In this condition, tension and pain start in them. Then, blood circulation accelerates toward that area, creating a state of irritation and inflammation.
Causes:
Weaning the child, excess of phlegmatic fluids, use of milk-producing (lactogenic) food such as milk, ghee, mash pulse (black gram), etc.
Hypogalactia (Deficient Production of Milk)
Sometimes the milk in the breasts becomes so deficient that it is inadequate for the child's nutrition. The child cries restlessly out of hunger and begins to grow weaker day by day.
Causes:
Grief and anger, excessive use of dry items, lack of food, anemia, working in hot weather.
Milk Stagnation in Breasts
Sometimes, due to a woman suffering from fever or some other ailment, she is stopped from breastfeeding. This creates a toxic condition, causing tension, pain, irritation, inflammation, and fever.
Causes:
Fever, development of a blockage (obstruction) or a tumor/lump in the milk ducts.
Lumps and Breast Cancer
The lumps occurring in breast cancer are of the following types:
Simple Tumors (سلعات بسیط):
Their types are as follows:
1- Hard Fibroadenoma (صلب لیفی سلعہ)
2- Cystic Adenoma (غددی کیسہ سلعہ)
1- Hard Fibroadenoma (صلب لیفی سلعہ):
A hard glandular tumor manifests as a circumscribed and somewhat elastic mass. Its diameter can reach up to seven centimeters, but usually, its size is not very large. It is prominently encapsulated and can be easily removed. This tumor arises from the entire anatomical unit of the mammary lobule. According to the mechanism of development from birth, it has two types:
A: The first type, Pericanalicular (external canalicular tumor)
B: The second type, Intracanalicular (internal canalicular tumor)
A: The first type, Pericanalicular:
Often, both types of development are present within a single tumor. In the former condition, the epithelial arrangement is similar to the usual epithelial arrangement of the breasts. In this state, the development of both the epithelium and connective tissue is seen, but their proportion is not identical; sometimes the structure of the stroma around the acini is very loose. The development inside this tumor is like the normal growth of the breast nature. This tumor generally appears in the early years of youth. If the stroma tissue is present in a small quantity, the term Adenoma Simplex is sometimes used for such conditions instead of the commonly observed fibroadenoma.
B: The second type, Intracanalicular:
In this, there are several curved and branching clefts. On the sides of each of these, a covering of epithelium is present. In fact, this structure is the result of the development of blunt and round processes of fibro-cellular tissue in the acini and lining of the ducts. Along with the development of the stroma, the lining epithelium also keeps developing in the same proportion, meaning a uniformity and balance is maintained between the two in development, due to which the structure of the pattern comes into existence.
2- Cystic Adenoma (غددی کیسہ سلعہ):
In this condition, the epithelial cells are large and vertical. Often, papilliform growths also come into existence inside the cysts. There is a type in which the cyst becomes filled with internal papilliform ingrowths. This is called the proliferous type. The size of this cyst can be very large. After ulceration inside it, it can also rupture, as a result of which a papilliform mass can also protrude out of the skin. This type of growth is generally simple in terms of characteristics, but sometimes cancerous transformation occurs in them.
Malignant Tumors (سرطانی سلعات):
This is commonly found in women over 30 years of age. Several types of breast cancer are described, but in reality, upon reflection, the characteristics of the cause are of an identical nature. The Scirrhous Form of breast cancer is highly frequent. In this, instead of an increase, contraction and a tendency of some parts to shrink inward occur; therefore, in such conditions, when the patient stands straight, the nipple on the affected side is raised upward. This type of cancer can occur in any part of the breast, but the upper and outer quadrant is its special site. Due to this, a hard part with ill-defined margins comes into existence. Retraction often occurs in the nipple. In the case of these malignant growths involving the central parts, the retraction of the nipple is of a prominent degree.
A short time after falling under the grip of the disease, the axillary lymph nodes are highly affected. These swell up and take the form of hard lumps, and gradually the disease infiltrates into the lymph vessels and lymph nodes of the skin. The affected skin of the breast becomes very hard and thick.
General Symptoms of Breast Cancer:
Nowadays, the epidemic of breast cancer is common. It can occur at any age, but it mostly occurs in women over 30 years of age. The initiation of cancer in the breast occurs in the form of a specific type of swelling or hard lump. First, it is felt inside the skin, then it becomes clearly visible on the surface of the skin. The perception of the disease is not felt initially because there is no pain in the lump. It just feels like a swelling that grows and spreads with the passage of time, and gradually pain begins to be felt in it. After irritation, inflammation occurs there and severe pain happens, until the inflammation matures and ruptures, from which a reddish fluid flows. In breast cancer, the extension of the tumors reaches down under the armpit, down the abdomen, up to the female reproductive organs, but this spread of tumors takes considerable time.
It is not necessary that the swelling or lump present in the breast is of cancer; rather, it is usually a simple lump that gets cured with general glandular-nervous resolvent medicines, but when it is malignant, the material inside it becomes putrid and takes the form of cancer, hence its timely and correct treatment is necessary.
Constant pain in the breast actually guides toward some important disease. For example, a lump or several lumps in the breast, infection in the breast, TB of the breast, itching on the breast, cancer of the breast, etc. In these diseases, the nature of the pain is according to the disease; it is more in some and less in others.
After diagnosis, if the lump is simple, treat it quickly, and if it is malignant, i.e., cancerous, immediately utilize all appropriate measures to try to get rid of it and put full effort until the complete eradication of the disease. If the physician has a doubt, they should perform a special X-ray of the breast called Mammography. This makes it easy to understand the nature of the disease, though a Biopsy must be performed before pronouncing a verdict of cancer.
After final diagnosis, in modern medicine (Allopathy), a major operation (Mastectomy) is performed to have the breast removed. They believe that in this way, its germs do not infiltrate into other parts. After its wound heals, they try to completely eradicate the disease through electrical rays (Radiation), but unfortunately, it does not happen like this because repairing the organ whose disorder caused this disease is not included in their treatment at all. Therefore, that organ continuously keeps making the same type of material, and at one time it accumulates again, due to which the disease returns in the same way, whereas ancient medicine not only eradicates this disease externally but completely changes the humors (chemistry) from the blood, due to which the question of the disease occurring again does not even arise.
Causes:
Not breastfeeding children, hormone-increasing medicines and foods, effects of malarial poison, worsening of TB.
Leukorrhea
The inner lining of the vagina has acidic properties due to lactic acid, and this keeps it protected from disease-causing germs. When its acidic quality reduces or ends, at that time, due to inflammation occurring in the uterus or ovaries, fluids start discharging in large quantities, which is called Amenorrhea of the Uterus or Leukorrhea.
It has three types:
1- Glandular-Nervous Discharge (غدی اعصابی سیلان):
In this leukorrhea, the fluid is yellowish-white, urine is yellow, and skin symptoms are often found. Hands and feet are hot, and sweating occurs profusely.
Causes:
Excessive use of hot-moist items.
2- Nervous-Glandular Discharge (اعصابی غدی سیلان):
In this case, the fluid is white, yellowish, the urine is foul-smelling, there is burning in the uterus, and excess of stickiness.
Causes:
Excessive use of moist-hot items.
3- Nervous-Muscular Discharge (اعصابی عضلاتی سیلان):
In this case, white fluid comes in abundance. Sometimes there is turbidness, white urine, and symptoms of cold and catarrh appear. Mostly fat women suffer from such discharge.
Causes:
Excessive use of moist-cold items.
Role of Female Sexual Organs
Overy (خصیتہ الرحم):
Ovaries are two in number. These are located on the outer side of the uterus, right and left, near and below the uterine tube. From each ovary, turns are taken every twenty-eight days to discharge an ovum, which upon meeting a sperm becomes a sign of pregnancy. The two important functions of the ovary are:
Discharge of the egg
Discharge of hormones
1- Discharge of the egg:
Approximately 50 thousand eggs are present in the ovaries, out of which around five hundred mature and are discharged at the time of conceiving pregnancy. One ovum is discharged in every lunar month. A mature Graafian follicle appears on the surface of the ovary after twenty-eight days, and due to the rupturing of the surface skin, after the ovum is discharged, it is snatched into the funnel-like fimbria of the uterine tube. This process occurs only once a month in a state of health. This series continues from puberty to the age of infertility (menopause/cessation of menstruation). After being discharged from the ovary, the Graafian follicle becomes the corpus luteum for the next stage. Five or six days after the discharge of the ovum, it reaches the uterus.
2- Discharge of Hormones:
Ovaries discharge two types of hormones:
i- Estrogen
ii- Progesterone
i- Estrogen:
A hormone is discharged from the anterior part of the pituitary gland; its name is F.S.H. (Follicle Stimulating Hormone). When this exerts its effect on the ovary, estrogen hormone is discharged from the ovary.
Important functions: This hormone causes the development of reproductive organs at the time of puberty. It makes a woman's appearance and her voice attractive. It produces milk by increasing the size of the breasts and also increases the size of the uterus. Through this, blood reaches the uterus. From one menstruation to another menstruation, the inner membrane of the uterus breaks down. This repairs it anew. Under the effect of this hormone, hair grows in a woman's armpits and around the sexual organs.
ii- Progesterone:
A hormone is discharged from the anterior part of the pituitary gland. Its name is L.H. (Luteinizing Hormone). Under its effect, progesterone is discharged from the corpus luteum at the half-time of the menstrual cycle.
Important functions: This hormone discharges the ovum. Before the fertilized ovum arrives, blood supply increases in the uterus. The temperature of the body increases further by $\bm{0.5^\circ\text{C}}$. It prepares the endometrium to receive the zygote and does its development, and also protects the uterus from contracting.
Pituitary Gland:
Two types of hormones are discharged from the anterior part of this gland:
1- FSH
2- LH
1- FSH:
This hormone increases the number and size of countless Graafian follicles, while one of them becomes large. FSH stimulates the theca and granulosa to discharge estrogen hormone. The level of FSH stops after increasing to a certain limit.
2- LH:
This hormone is also produced from the anterior part of the pituitary gland at the time when the production of FSH stops. The follicle ruptures and the ovum is discharged. Then, under the influence of LH, the corpus luteum grows, from which both hormones, estrogen and progesterone, are produced. LH is produced for fourteen days. After that, FSH starts. In this way, this series continues.
Note: In an abnormal state of blood in a woman's body, female diseases occur due to the disorder of the aforementioned system.
Amenorrhea
(احتباسِ طمث - Stop of Menstruation)
Under the influence of the hormone F.S.H., which stimulates the ovarian cysts of the pituitary gland, along with a small amount of L.H., an ovarian cyst starts developing in the ovary around the third day of the menstrual cycle. This process of development continues from the third to the fourteenth day of the menstrual cycle. On the fourteenth day, a mature egg (Mature Ovum) is discharged, after which the secretion of estrogen and progesterone from the ovarian cyst takes place. Estrogen, on one hand, stimulates the process of developmental changes on the inner surface of the uterus; on the other hand, it stops the secretion of F.S.H. from the pituitary.
On the fourteenth day of the menstrual cycle, the ovarian cyst ruptures and frees the egg. This variation in the cyst is under the influence of the follicle-stimulating hormone L.H.; after this, a fatty structure fills into the cells of the cyst, and secretion of progesterone and estrogen starts from them. Both of these hormones accelerate the process of growth in the cells of the inner surface of the uterus (Endometrium) and also increase the function of the surface glands. The secretion of the hormone of the corpus luteum is under the influence of the pituitary hormone L.T.H. Along with the aforementioned changes in the inner surface of the uterus, the presence of estrogen and progesterone in the blood circulation also exerts an inhibitory effect on the secretion of the pituitary hormones F.S.H. and L.H.
At this stage, if the egg is not fertilized in this menstrual cycle, the corpus luteum begins to become inactive around the 24th day. Now, since the secretion of estrogen and progesterone stops, therefore, the membrane of the inner surface of the uterus begins to die.
On the 28th day, the inner membrane of the uterus separates from the uterine wall, and menstruation starts. If these hormones are not being produced, or if their balance gets spoiled and they are not doing their work correctly, menstruation stops, due to which these complications increase:
1- A woman's body begins to grow, meaning obesity starts.
2- At this time, a woman is deprived of the blessing of children.
3- Despair, fatigue, and body aches start.
4- Skin diseases start.
5- Blood pressure remains low and the head remains heavy.
6- Due to excess of sleep, fluids increase further in the body, due to which the whole body becomes a victim of heaviness.
7- Discharge starts due to the excess of fluid.
8- Appetite becomes low, and despite eating very little, the body does not stop bloating.
9- Water flows from the nose, cold and catarrh remain often.
10- The back and legs pain severely.
Overall, there are symptoms of phlegm, and it is a reality that when there is an excess of fluids in the body, then the discharge of blood will stop.
Causes: Excessive use of moist-hot and moist-cold items, contraceptives.
Menorrhagia (Excessive Menstruation)
Excessive menstruation always happens due to dryness or inflammation. Even if this dryness and inflammation is apparently due to an excess of heat, originally it is a sign of a deficiency of heat. In this state, menses come for more than the designated duration. It comes with irregularity and excess. Sometimes blood also starts coming between both durations. Or it continues for several days exceeding the fixed days. This is called metrorrhagia, and the treatment for this dryness and inflammation should be done with resolvents.
Causes: Excessive use of dry-hot items, having intercourse during the days of menstruation, rupturing of a vein due to dryness, fissure of the uterus, miscarriage.
Dysmenorrhea (Menstruation Coming with Tightness and Pain)
The cause of this disease is inflammation of the ovary. Ending this inflammation is the treatment for this disease. In this disease, the quantity of menses is low and its discharge is extremely painful.
At times, due to severity in pain, the patient starts crying. Hands and feet are hot, and there is burning in them.
Causes: Excessive use of hot items, grief and sorrow, excess of intercourse, obesity-producing foods that create thickness in the blood, due to which pain occurs in the discharge of blood.
Uterine Tumor
(سلعتہ الرِحم - Lumps, Tumors of the Uterus)
This usually happens between the ages of 25 to 50 years. The initiation of this disease occurs due to the spoiling of the natural temperament of the uterus. Inflammation happens and one or more lumps are formed, whose size becomes from the size of a pea to a hen's egg or even larger than that. At times, suspicion of pregnancy begins to arise. Pain occurs upon pressing at the site of the fallopian tubes. The patient remains worried and restless with fatigue all the time. The color becomes pale, weakness, deficiency of blood, low blood, spoiled digestion, irregularity of days, and other ailments manifest. If pregnancy occurs, miscarriage happens. Pain occurs from walking and moving around. Complete diagnosis is made by ultrasound.
A simple tumor stops after growing to a certain limit. It does not affect neighboring structures, nor does fever and pain happen from it. At times, if the tumor is in the posterior part of the uterus, pressure falls on the rectum, due to which constipation or motions keep happening. If it is in the anterior part of the uterus, pressure falls on the bladder, and there is a frequent urge to urinate.
Causes: Excessive use of cold-dry items.
Metritis (Inflammation/Infection of the Uterus)
Due to inflammation and swelling of the uterus, heat increases like a fever in the whole body. Due to this distress, the vagina becomes weak to such an extent that even a minor injury is unbearable, and intercourse is impossible. In such a situation, if the man shows intensity, the woman experiences severe pain, which keeps being felt for several days, and inclination toward intercourse does not remain. Severe pain occurs in the pelvic region and back. Generally, shy and modest girls remain afflicted with this disease.
Causes: Excessive use of hot-dry items, sexual arousal, hot climate, fever, other diseases of the uterus.
Induration of the Uterus (Hardness of the Uterus)
Due to chronic inflammation in the muscles of the uterus, hardness is produced in the uterus. Then, like a barren stony land, nothing is produced in it.
Causes:
Excessive use of cold-dry items.
Prolapse of the Uterus (Uterus Coming Out)
The part of the uterus becomes soft and begins to sag and starts coming out. Or it comes down to some extent. Due to fluids increasing in the uterus, its body begins to bloat.
Causes: Excessive use of phlegmatic items, leukorrhea, cold climate.
Displacement of the Uterus
Due to pressure in the intestines, constipation, loss of appetite, and pulling in the muscles, pain occurs in bending. The uterus moves from its place and tilts toward the front or back. Back pain and a load on both feet are felt.
Causes: Spasm in the uterine muscles, jumping, repeated miscarriages, anemia, liver disorder, severe constipation.
Dropsy of the Ovary
(Ovarian Cyst)
Every month, eggs are discharged from a woman's ovary and reach the uterus through the fallopian tubes. Sometimes cysts are formed in these ovaries, then these symptoms manifest:
Initially, a round swelling is felt between the flank and the pelvis. Gradually, this swelling encompasses the entire abdomen. If both hands are placed on the patient's abdomen and moved to one side, the other hand feels waves of water; since in most situations only one ovary is afflicted with the disease, therefore, the patient does not feel any complaint of menstruation, but in a state of severity of the disease, the disease of scanty menstruation or amenorrhea manifests. If the patient is weak, due to the tension of its envelope, the complaint of excessive menstruation can also happen. Sometimes a foul-smelling, sticky fluid flows, from which itching starts. Pain, redness, and heat are found in the pelvis and back. Due to the excess accumulation of water, breathing becomes difficult owing to tension falling on the abdomen and diaphragm. Constipation remains often. Due to pressure falling on the bladder, urination comes a little at a time and quickly, which the patient cannot stop. Sometimes, pressure falls on the urinary tract and urine stops in such a way that it does not discharge without a catheter.
Sometimes, due to pressure falling on the neck (of the bladder/uterus), the production of urine decreases, and the toxic components of urine mix into the blood, becoming the cause of several types of distresses and calamities. In this state, severe pain occurs from intercourse.
Causes: Use of Allopathic antibiotic medicines, use of hot-dry items.
Hysteria (اختناق الرحم)
In this, first two situations operate which are severe.
In them too, the glandular-muscular stimulation is more accelerated. Its center in women is the ovary. Due to this stimulation, the pressure of blood and winds increases, and ejaculation and discharge of fluid stop, due to which sharpness, pleasure, and libido experience acceleration, and sometimes it becomes severe to such an extent that the patient becomes overwhelmed by sharpness, pleasure, and libido, but the reality is that no patient outwardly is acquainted with the reality and secrets of sharpness, pleasure, and libido. She considers it a disease of attacks because in this, the sensation of tingling or sharpness that occurs in the body, especially in the uterus, she considers as a disorder of menstruation and pain. Even imagining pleasure and libido cannot be tolerated by her modesty and womanhood. Leave aside women, even men who get trapped in this disease become overwhelmed by libido. They too consider it a disease only. They cannot even perceive the excess of their pleasure and libido, though the semen that discharges along with urine in this disease, they term it as the cause of disease and weakness. The reality is that neither the woman is acquainted with the true reality of the disease, nor is the man aware.
Causes of disease:
This disease mostly manifests in girls after becoming mature who have no worry about eating and drinking and no worry about education or work. In that case, while the fervor of youth is at its full bloom, because in those days, along with the excess of blood, the functions of organs also become accelerated, and from glandular-muscular stimulation, such delicacy is produced in the temperament that if even a slightly unusual event or shock reaches, the mood gets spoiled. If they hear or experience an unusual grief and anger, terrifying news, or stories of love and romance, or if such an unusual event occurs in a novel, fiction, or film which cannot be tolerated and it feels as if it is a personal event. Excess of pleasures, masturbation, unnatural movements, and extreme difficulties are often harmful.
Unacquainted and innocent girls, and diseases of the uterus, disorder of menstruation, excessive reading, mental exertion, contemplation, deficiency and disorder of blood, and the balance of foods getting spoiled, very quickly afflict young girls with a dreadful disease like hysteria. Due to modesty and shyness, some unacquainted and innocent girls use wet clothes, or use cold water or bathe during special days, or perform unusual movements, etc. Sometimes seeing events of love and romance or reading stories and tales also afflicts them with this disease.
Symptoms of disease:
The name of this disease is Akh-tanaq-ul-Rahm (Suffocation of the Uterus) because its connection is with the uterus, and in it, moderation does not remain in the discharge and descent of fluid, and suffocation is felt there. In English, it is also called hysteria because its meaning is uterus, and the biggest symptom in it is that the willpower becomes weak and the patient cannot control her nature. Eating food without hunger, indigestion, and excess of flatulence; generally, it feels like a ball of gas in the abdomen, which at the time of an attack increases and encompasses the entire abdomen. Then it climbs up and comes near the throat and gets stuck. At that time, the patient becomes unconscious and falls comfortably on the bed.
During the days when the intensity of attacks is high, during those days the patient talks more. She falls into grief and anger quickly. Mostly girls talk about romantic things. Some develop religious mania and religious fervor. They remain more inclined toward purity, cleanliness, prayers, and charity. They hear unusual voices and see strange and wonderful lights. They see such dreams which outwardly indicate goodness and religious love, but a person well-versed in the science of dreams and an expert in interpretation knows well that these are sexual signs. Especially seeing the minarets of a mosque or meeting a holy peer, fakir, and saints of Allah, etc. Similarly, often seeing in a dream that a snake, rat, buffalo, bull, lion, and bear are running behind her, or rogues and ruffians are chasing her, etc. etc.
Married women talk about very naked and immodest things after an attack and level unseemly allegations against men and defame them. They remain worried all the time in fear of their second marriage. Prior to the initiation of an attack, they do strange types of talks and movements. Sometimes they laugh, sometimes they cry, sometimes they sing, and sometimes they recite romantic verses. Anyhow, their mental balance gets spoiled. Speed in breathing, the head is heavy or there is pain and dizziness. Anyhow, their mental balance gets spoiled. Speed in breathing, the head is heavy or pain and dizziness come. The color is pale, and excess of weakness and fatigue; just all of a sudden her condition becomes bad and the attack starts. An epilepsy patient falls all of a sudden and even falls at a dangerous place, and foam comes from the mouth, but a hysteria patient remains unconsciously cautious even in falling; rather, semi-consciousness remains awake during the attack; when she comes to consciousness, she narrates the events from falling up to unconsciousness.
Low Libido
In some women, sexual desire becomes very low, which a man perceives at the time when he wants to prepare her for intercourse, but she does not budge. Even after intercourse, the woman does not feel it.
Causes:
Excessive use of moist-cold items, mental worry, fear, obesity, conceiving pregnancy, disease of reproductive organs, hatred toward the husband's habits, advanced age.
Athra
Like infertility, Athra is neither a disease nor a symptom; however, it is the name of a condition found in such a man and woman whose children die from birth up to eight years of age. This condition is not known until two or four children die within this age. After this condition becomes known, the woman experiences worry and grief because women are convinced that the treatment for this disease cannot be done with medicines. Its connection is with jinnat, or it is the effect of the shadow of such a woman who is under the influence of jinnat or such diseases. Similarly, the effect of ghosts, evil spirits, and amulets/charms is also considered, but all this is wrong.
The perception of this condition is found among the common people, especially rural women. In the educated class, it is called ignorance and lack of knowledge, but when this condition is found in educated families, they themselves believe it; rather, they even go to amulets, charms, peers, and fakirs, but all this is useless.
Symptoms: When such women were studied repeatedly and thoroughly, special types of symptoms were found in them, for example, burning and tightness in urine, burning of hands and feet, such a burning in the soles as if wounds are there. Often constipation and dryness, a feeling in the abdomen around the uterus as if someone has bound and tightly strapped a bandage. Some have itching, pimples, and boils, ulcers in the mouth, wounds in the throat, chronic catarrh, chronic burning in the eyes, some have a ball of gas in the abdomen, attacks of hysteria, anger in nature, sharpness, and inability to tolerate anyone's talk, remaining angry with almost every person and the whole household, to the extent that love even for a child comes with difficulty.
The children who are born are mostly born healthy apparently, then gradually they begin to wither away. Some are sick from the time of birth itself. In some children, symptoms of gonorrhea have also been seen. Some children are healthy at the time of birth, but within three days, blackness spreads in their eyes and they die after becoming blind. Some children are so decayed as if kneaded flour and a severe foul smell comes from it.
Special point:
1- The disease of Athra is found in those families in which the effect of the disease of gonorrhea is present. This effect is transferred from the father's side into the offspring; rather, it should be said that first it affects the wife, and in her, gonorrhea or other such ailments are produced, along with which the disease of Athra is produced in her. The offspring of such a husband and wife, first of all, is not born healthy, and if born healthy, dies quickly.
2- Generally, it is considered that in Athra, disorder is found inside women, but the reality is that in women this disorder comes from the side of men; therefore, in such a disease, the examination of men should also be done, and it should be seen whether the condition of Athra has come from the side of the man or his family. In this situation, along with women, the treatment of men is also necessary.
Causes: Effects of the poison of gonorrhea, excessive use of hot items.
Infertility
According to the W.H.O., if despite having regular intercourse for one year after marrying, pregnancy is not conceived, it will be considered the disease of infertility. Except for congenital defects, treatment is possible in all situations.
Causes: Cessation of menstruation and stopping of the discharge of the egg from the ovary, inflammation of the uterus, use of contraceptive medicines, intercourse not taking place at the timely moment, irregularity of estrogen and progesterone hormones, disorder of the fallopian tube.
The duration of menstruation in women is generally twenty-eight days. Approximately fourteen days after the onset of menstruation, the egg is discharged from the ovary. After that, having intercourse at any time within twenty-eight hours results in conceiving pregnancy. The major sign of the discharge of the egg is that the temperature of a woman's body increases by $0.5\text{-}1^\circ\text{C}$. This remains established continuously for three days. A woman's body is somewhat warm and she becomes sharp sexually. If intercourse is done on these thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days, pregnancy will definitely be conceived. The indication of the discharge of the egg is shown by the presence of the quantity of progesterone hormone in the blood. After the discharge of progesterone in the blood, the normal level is 10 mg per liter.
Disorder of the Fallopian Tube:
It has three forms:
1- Due to stimulation occurring in the nerves, the disease of amenorrhea is contracted.
2- Due to stimulation occurring in the muscles, the ailment of induration of the uterus is contracted.
3- Due to stimulation occurring in the glands, the disease of inflammation of the uterus is contracted.
Note: Sometimes the reports of the husband and wife are normal, meaning the man's sperm are 60% or more than that and the woman's eggs are also coming according to their routine, but pregnancy is not conceived. Great eminent physicians and doctors get tired and lose hope and start saying that now there is no solution for this, at most you can ask for prayers. Remember, praying and asking it from living people is a Sunnah, through this all problems get solved, but in medicine, I am describing it as a disease because after research of a long duration, the conclusion has been reached that ahead of the man's sperm is Plasmin, which is like an arrow; it cannot cross the woman's egg which is enclosed in a covering of protein, therefore pregnancy does not happen. On one side there is a deficiency in the man, then on the other side there is an excess in the woman that she eats more muscular foods.
Retention of Pregnancy (اسستقرار حمل)
Due to weakness of the uterus, sometimes pregnancy does not happen; in this situation, a woman's natural temperament does not remain established, due to which this sign occurs. The natural temperament of a young woman is glandular-muscular; if you restore it, then strength will be produced in her uterus, and it is a reality that this strength happens by producing heat in the uterus. When its correct heat is restored, then pregnancy definitely happens.
Causes: Excessive use of moist-hot, moist-cold, and cold-dry items.
Pseudocyesis (False Pregnancy)
Infertile women are desperate for pregnancy, therefore, after menstruation, they attach a new hope. Often such women have the disease of menstrual disorder, therefore, at times menstruation does not come for several months, upon which they become convinced of pregnancy. Often the breasts bloat, and sometimes milk also appears, and sometimes labor pain manifests and a piece like meat is discharged. Similarly, discharge of fluids happens in excess. Sometimes these very materials become putrid and accept the animal soul, accordingly some women give birth to things like turtles, snakes, etc.
True and False Pregnancy:
When women have pregnancy, muscular stimulation begins to increase in them. The pulse and urine etc. of pregnant women become muscular day by day. For example, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, etc., this period lasts for eight months. Then the stimulation changes and begins to become glandular-nervous, and identical diseases are contracted. For example, thinning and deficiency of blood, constipation, instead of retention of urine, repeated pressure of stool and urine, sometimes dysentery, etc., are special types of symptoms, which are not found in false pregnancy. The sign of false pregnancy resembles the sign of a tumor in the abdomen, and flatulence and stability increase.
Its further diagnosis is made by urine test and ultrasound.
